This past fall, I collaborated with the Maine-based nonprofit, All Things Become New, to submit a grant to the Maine Humanities Council for an Arts & Humanities Grant. Our plan was to bring community writing workshops to Aroostook County, the northernmost county in Maine (affectionately referred to as "the County" here in Maine). Last month, Suzanne and I were thrilled to learn that our project was selected to receive a grant. Over the coming months, we will be planning and scheduling five community writing workshops (two virtual ones and three in-person) to happen this spring and summer. More details will be shared soon! To learn more about All Things Become New and the incredible impact the organization has on northern Maine communities, visit their website here.

I'm thrilled to be featured on Christina Keys' Keys for Caregiving for National Caregivers Month. Christina and I met a little over a year ago at a caregiver retreat in Carrabassett Valley, Maine, and she is an incredible champion for caregivers all over the U.S. For this project, she asked several of the family caregivers she knows to put together a quick video and share a little about their story, what they currently do within the caregiver space, and a tip for supporting family caregivers in your life. You can see the entire collection of videos here, and you can learn more about Christina's work here.
